COMPETITION
for the election of the director of the State Archives in Pazin
I. Conditions:
- completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies or equivalent studies, as well as a person who has obtained a higher professional qualification in accordance with the regulations in force before the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (OG 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17)
- at least 3 years of work in an archive or at least 5 years of work in the field of culture of science and education
- passed the professional exam in the archival profession
- professional, work and organizational skills.
Exceptionally, a person who has not passed the professional exam in the archival profession may be appointed as the director of the archives if, based on the work so far, it can be expected that he/she will successfully manage the state archives and with the obligation to pass the professional exam within eighteen months from the date of appointment.
On the basis of Art. 13, para. 2 Pursuant to the Gender Equality Act (OG 82/08, 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.
Candidates who exercise the right of priority in employment under special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in their application to the competition and attach the prescribed documentation under a special law and have priority over other candidates only under the same conditions.
II. Candidates must enclose with their application:
- diploma (original or certified copy)
- Homepage (copy)
- Proof of work experience (certificate from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute or a copy of the employment contract/solution)
- certificate of passing the professional examination (copy)
- belief that no criminal proceedings are being conducted (not older than 6 months)
- CV
III. In addition to proof of eligibility, candidates are required to submit the institution's work programme for the next four-year term of office.
IV. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
V. The deadline for submitting applications is 8 (eight) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette at the address: State Archives in Pazin, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin with the indication ‘Tender for Director’.
VI The Director is appointed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Croatia for a period of 4 (four) years.
VII. Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
