On 31 May 2017 at 6 pm in the State Archives in Pazin dr. sc. Olga Orlić will give a lecture on the topic Personal documentation from the Pazin, Rijeka and Zadar archives as a source for anthropological analysis of Austro-Hungarian everyday life.

About the trainer:
Dr. Sc. Olga Orlić was born in 1976 in Zagreb. She graduated in ethnology and archaeology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. From 2001 to 2006 she worked as a curator at the Ethnographic Museum of Istria. For his first solo exhibition "Tkalci u Istri" (2004. ) received the annual Milovan Gavazzi Award from the Croatian Ethnological Society. Since 2006 she has been employed at the Institute of Anthropology in Zagreb, first as a research assistant, and since 2013 as a research associate. She received her master's degree in 2009 at the Postgraduate Study of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. In her scientific research work so far, she has participated as a collaborator in several national and international projects. In 2014/2015 she led a team of programs of popularization of science in anthropology AntroPOP financed by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. Since 2008 she has been a member of the editorial board of the journal of the Croatian Ethnological Society Ethnological Forum. She is one of the founders of the informal research group Ruralija, whose goal is to launch interdisciplinary scientific research of rural areas in Croatia.
