Presentation of the edition Apostolic Visit of the Diocese of Pula, Bishop Augustine Valier, 1580/ Visita apostolica alla Diocesi di Pola del vescovo Agostino Vallier nell’anno 1580 was held on 17 March 2023 in Poreč. The presentation was organized by the publishers of the State Archives in Pazin, the Diocese of Poreč and Pula, the County of Istria, the Archaeological Museum of Istria and the publisher Josip Turčinović. The reviewer of the issue is prof. dr. sc. Tomislav Galović. The publication is the first manuscript of the new publishing series ‘Apostolic Visitations of Bishop Augustine Valier’, launched with the aim of publishing the most relevant historical sources of ecclesiastical provenance for the period from the 16th to the end of the 18th century in Istria.
