On Friday, 5 May 2023, a ceremonial introduction to the work of the contractor and laying the foundation stone for the reconstruction and upgrade of the former military warehouse for the purpose of archival storage was held State Archives in Pazin.
The project is implemented Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Administration of the Republic Croatia , the Croatian State Archives (HDA), regional state archives and judicial authorities.
The execution of the works is an integral part of one of the five activities included in the investment entitled ‘Improving the digital infrastructure and public sector services by developing the national archive information system and strengthening the national archives network’, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which is fully funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
