In May, throughout Croatia, for the thirteenth year in a row, it is celebrated Kliofest History Festival. As part of Kliofest There is also a manifestation Days of History.
It is an opportunity to organize various lectures, book presentations, workshops, round tables, presentations of research projects, exhibitions, film screenings, etc. related to historical topics from antiquity to modernity.
the First Porec Kliofest held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, starting at 11 am at Mate Balote High School in Poreč, director of the State Archives in Pazin Mirela Mrak Kliman held a lecture on the topic "Pazin State Archives – Past, Present and Future".
This year it is Kliofest History Festival financially supported by the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Zagreb, the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Publishers ZANA and, for the first time – through the Serbian National Council, the Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. It was also supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia, the Italian Institute for Culture and the Cultural Information Centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
