On Friday, November 28, 2025, at 12:00, in front of the House of Croatian Defenders in Pula, the 31st Opening Ceremony was held. Book Fair(y) in Istria, one of the most important literary festivals in Croatia and the region.
This year’s edition of the Fair, with the theme ‘Nemiri’, features a rich and varied programme, including book presentations, meetings with domestic and foreign authors, thematic debates, expert conferences and other activities dedicated to promoting literature and the culture of reading.
This year again, the State Archives in Pazin participates in the Fair and exhibits its editions, thus contributing to the presentation of the valuable documentary and publishing heritage of Istria and beyond. Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest publications of the Archive and explore content that preserves the history and identity of the space.
The fair lasts until December 7, 2025, and all book lovers are invited to visit this year's edition and enjoy a rich program and a unique literary atmosphere.
