On 20 September 2023, a workshop was held Are peace and conflict mutually exclusive? The workshop leader was Doc. dr. sc. Marlena Plavsic. The workshop was held to mark the 5th event. The Week of Istrian Libraries, whose central theme is Peace and the slogan is Book to Peace. The aim of the workshop is to expand the participants' knowledge of the psychology of peace, to encourage them to develop awareness of the consequences of conflicts for individuals and to encourage the peaceful resolution of mutual conflicts.
