This year's theme of the International Archives Day, an event that since 2009 in Croatia aims to draw public attention and deepen awareness of archives as professional, cultural, scientific and service institutions, but also of the value of archival material as an inevitable and inexhaustible source for research in many areas, is Official notification in the past.

On this occasion, 12 . June 2013 in the State Archives in Pazin organized and held a lecture by mr. sc. Jakov Jelinčić, archival advisor in m. on the topic Minutes of the sessions of the Council of Labin Commune from the time of Venice. In addition to the aforementioned lecture, a special action sale of the edition of the State Archives in Pazin was held and an exhibition was presented Legacy of the Enlightenment: 18th century books in the holdings of the Library of the State Archives in Pazin, by Mladenka Hammer, senior librarian of the State Archives in Pazin.
