On Friday, January 26, 2018, from 18:00 to 24:00, the State Archives in Pazin marked the Night of Museums event, which was held that evening in cultural institutions across Croatia.

As part of the night of the museum, the State Archives in Pazin prepared an interesting program that kept the attention of a large number of visitors until late hours. Valuable employees of the archives transformed their large hall, in which scientific conferences are usually held, into an inn and bowling alley, and this ambience housed an exhibition of documents related to the history of sports in Pazin. Many of them were first presented to the public, so visitors could learn many hidden details about the former videos in Pazin, but also athletes and sports activists. In addition to the exhibition, several lectures on sports were held, so Dalibor Paus spoke about the ring race, Anton Finderle about hiking in Pazin, and Mirjan Rimanić about the history of bowling in Pazin. The famous Pazin bocce players Franko Sloković, Franjo Paladin, Vladimir Pakiž and Vjekoslav Filiplić also participated in the discussion on bowling. After the lecture, the visitors continued to hang out at the small bowling alley and the tournament in Briškala and trešeti. On this occasion, the students of the Juraj Dobrila Gymnasium and Vocational School made an interesting film about the history of bowling in Pazin, which will remain as a document of this Night of Museums, but more importantly as a testimony about bowling as the most trophic Pazin sport. The programme of the Night of Museums event was held in the Great Hall of the State Archives in Pazin, and entrance to all programmes was free of charge.
