On the basis of the consent of the Ministry of Culture, class: 112-01/19-01/0623, ref. No: 532-06-02-02/6-19-02 of 26 August 2019, in accordance with Article 18 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. the Statute of the State Archives in Pazin (hereinafter: DAPA), class: 012-03/08-01/01, ref. No: 2163-56-09-01-04 of 20 November 2009 and Article 24 the Basic Collective Agreement for Civil Servants and Employees in Public Services (NN Nos 128/17 and 47/18), is published
PUBLIC COMPETITION
for the admission of employees on an indefinite basis
I. Archivist (m/f) – 1 permanent executor in the Archives Unit.
II. Conditions:
– completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies, as well as a person who has obtained a higher professional qualification in accordance with the regulations in force before the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (NN Nos 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 02/07, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17) – humanities or social studies;
– one year’s professional experience;
– passed the professional examination for the title of archivist;
– knowledge of a foreign language; and
– basic IT competences and skills.
III. The application must be accompanied by:
– Certificate of citizenship (copy)
– Proof of professional qualifications (certified copy)
– proof of work ability (copy of work booklet or electronic record of work experience issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute)
– proof of passing the professional examination (copy)
– a handwritten declaration of knowledge of a foreign language;
– a handwritten declaration of knowledge of working on a personal computer;
– certificate of no criminal record not older than 6 months (original)
– curriculum vitae.
IV. On the basis of Art. 13, para. 2 of the Gender Equality Act (NN Nos 82/08, 69/17), persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.
V. Candidates who exercise the right of priority in employment under special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in their application for the competition and attach the prescribed documentation under a special law and have priority over other candidates only under the same conditions.
VI In accordance with the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families (NN No 121/17; Further to the Act), the persons referred to in Article 102(1) are invoked. 3 - 3 of the Act to provide the evidence referred to in Article 103(1). Laws for the purpose of gaining an advantage in employment.
VII. Persons who have not passed the professional exam in the archival profession may also apply for the competition, with the obligation to pass the exam in accordance with the Ordinance on the conditions and manner of acquiring professional titles in the archival profession (Official Gazette No. 107/10).
VIII. Candidates who meet the formal requirements of the competition and whose applications are complete and timely will be invited for an interview. If the candidate does not attend the interview, he/she will be deemed to have withdrawn his/her application to the competition.
IX. A complete application is considered to contain all the information listed in the public tender. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
X. The deadline for submission of applications is 8 days from the publication in the Official Gazette at the address: State Archives in Pazin, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin with the indication: "Competition for the position of archivist".
XI Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
