On the basis of Art. 40 and 41. Institutions Act (NN Nos 76/93, 29/97, 47/99, 35/08 and 127/19), Article 41. Article 22 of the Archives and Archives Act (NN Nos 61/18 and 89/19) of the Statute of the State Archives in Pazin (consolidated text) CLASS: 012-03/18-01/01, REF. COMPETITION
for the election of the director of the State Archives in Pazin
The conditions are:
– completed university graduate or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies or equivalent;
– at least three years in the archives or at least five years in the fields of culture, science and education;
– passed the professional examination in the archival profession,
– has professional, working and organisational skills.
A person who has not passed the professional exam in the archival profession may also be appointed director if, on the basis of his/her previous work, it can be expected that he/she will successfully manage the state archives and with the obligation to pass the professional exam within eighteen months from the date of appointment.
II. On the basis of Art. 13, para. 2 Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under the Gender Equality Act (NN Nos 82/08, 69/17).
III. Candidates who exercise the right of priority in employment under special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in their application to the competition and attach the prescribed documentation under a special law and have priority over other candidates only under the same conditions.
IV. Pursuant to the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families (NN Nos 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) (hereinafter: The law) shall be invoked by the persons referred to in Article 102, paragraph 1-3. of the Act to provide the evidence referred to in Article 103(1). Laws for the purpose of gaining an advantage in employment.
V. Candidates must enclose with their application:
- Curriculum Vitae
– the draft work programme of the State Archives in Pazin for the next four-year period;
– diploma (original or certified copy)
– Certificate of citizenship (copy or e-record of a citizen’s book)
– proof of professional experience (certificate or copy of the employment contract and electronic record of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute not older than 30 days);
– certificate of professional examination (copy)
– the conviction of the competent court that the candidate is not subject to criminal proceedings (not older than 6 months);
VI Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
VII. The deadline for submitting applications is 8 (eight) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette at the following address: State Archives in Pazin, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin with the indication ‘Tender for director – not to open’.
VIII. The Director is appointed by the Minister of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia for a period of 4 (four) years.
IX. Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
