About the trainer:
Dr. Sc. Dean Krmac (Koper, 1971), historian, researcher and editor. He obtained his diploma and doctorate at the University of Trieste Universita degli Studi di Trieste. He deals with the historical demography of the Istrian peninsula in the period between the 19th and 20th centuries, especially migration movements. He edited scientific journals Annales and Acta Histriae and was a member of the editorial board of the Istrian Encyclopedia. He has participated in several international conferences and has published papers in many international scientific journals. He is a member of the Italian Historical and Demographic Society, the Historical Society for Southern Littoral and the Humanist Society Histria, whose founder and secretary he is. He is the editor-in-chief of Histria Editiones.
