On 22 March 2017 at 6 pm in the State Archives in Pazin dr. sc. Tanja Perić-Polonijo will give a lecture on the topic Archiving heritage: the value and importance of archival sources for ethnological and folkloristic research.

About the trainer:

Dr. Sc. Tanja Perić-Polonijo is a retired scientific advisor. She was a longtime employee of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb. She is a permanent external associate of the Department of Ethnology of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb. She was the leader and collaborator on several scientific projects whose research topics were ranked among the basic research comparative folklore and ethnological activities. Publishes scientific and professional papers, anthologies and critical editions of older Croatian manuscript ethnological and folklore material; participates in the preparation and publication of Croatian lexicographic editions (Croatian General Encyclopedia 1-12, Istrian Encyclopedia, Literary Encyclopedia (1-4) and Ethnological Lexicon); carry out field research, in particular in relation to Istria; She is a permanent associate in team work on improving the HAZU Digital Collection. Dr. Tonja Perić-Polonijo, with his scientific and professional work, strives to contribute to the development and improvement of knowledge about Croatian tradition and culture.
