About the trainer:
Mr. Sc. Nikola Lovrinić completed his studies in musicology in 2003 at the Department of Musicology, Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. At the same institution in cooperation with the Musicological Institute ZRC SAZU in Ljubljana he obtained his master's degree in 2007. He is employed as a teacher of theoretical music subjects at the Elementary Music School Matko Brajša Rašana at the Public Open University in Labin. He is the author of several scientific and professional papers, a referent at musicological conferences in Croatia and abroad and a lecturer at professional councils and seminars for teachers of theoretical music subjects. As the head of the children's choir, he regularly participates in meetings of children's and young people's choirs. His main area of research is the music of the late Renaissance and early Baroque. He is a member of the Croatian Musicological Society, the Croatian Society of Music Theorists and the Chair of the Chakavian Parliament for Music Novigrad.
