16. The Night of Museums online this Friday, January 29, 2021, at the State Archives in Pazin, starting at 6 p.m.
On Youtube the Pazin State Archives channel (link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xc8uCjh4iuM) visitors will be able to watch a video clip presenting restored items from the holdings of the Museum of the City of Pazin.
This is a continuation of the successful cooperation between the two cultural institutions operating in Pazin. Conservation and restoration interventions on objects were carried out by employees from the Department of Archival Protection, Conservation and Restoration of the State Archives in Pazin. These are personal documents and newspapers dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries and are part of the Museum's rich Collection of Documents. The intention of the organizers, following the common theme of this year's Night of Museums, was to bring visitors closer to the importance of preserving museum items for generations to come precisely through conservation and restoration of them.
