About the trainer:
Mr. Sc. Drago Kraljević (Buje, 1948) is a master of sociology. He was a member of the Croatian Parliament for two terms, a member of the Expert Group for the Borders of the Republic of Croatia and a member of the Mixed Croatian-Italian-Slovenian Commission for the Implementation of the Udine Agreement. He served as Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Italy from the end of 2000 until the end of 2005. He was the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Croatia to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). As the president of the Croatian SDP Commission for International Cooperation, he represented the Party at numerous gatherings of European social democrats across Europe. For his work he received several high acknowledgments and decorations of the Republic of Croatia, Italy and San Marino. He is an honorary citizen of the city of Termolia (Molise) and the municipality of Roccabascerana (Campania). He has published three monographs and about 400 articles and contributions in domestic and foreign magazines, daily press and professional publications mainly on the topic of Croatian-Italian and Croatian-Slovenian relations, Croatian rapprochement with the European Union and local and regional democracy, minorities and human rights.
