This year's theme of the International Archives Day, an event that since 2009 in Croatia aims to draw public attention and deepen awareness of archives as professional, cultural, scientific and service institutions, but also of the value of archival material as an inevitable and inexhaustible source for research in many areas, is First World War in Croatian Archives.

On this occasion, an exhibition was presented at the State Archives in Pazin on 9 June 2014. Markgrofovia Istria in the Great War, by Markus Leideck, archivist of the Pazin State Archives.
