Lecturer: Istria 1991 – public order and peace in the Pula Police Department in the atmosphere of the Homeland War

 

About the trainer:

Dr. Sc. Jakša Raguž graduated in history and ethnology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. At the same faculty, he earned the title of Master of Science by defending his master's thesis entitled Attempt to Found the Republic of Dubrovnik 1991-1992. In 2009 he received his doctorate on Konavle from the breakup of Yugoslavia until the end of the Homeland War (1988-1995). After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as a history professor in several schools. He is employed at the Croatian Institute of History in the Department of Contemporary History. His main area of research is the topic of the Homeland War. He is the author of several books, a series of scientific and professional papers and the editor of numerous publications.
