About the trainer:
Doc. dr. sc. Ivana Paula Gortan-Carlin (1968) graduated in musicology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Ljubljana (1994). She completed her postgraduate studies in history at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb (2005) and received her PhD in musicology from the Department of Musicology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Ljubljana with the thesis: Istrian composers at the turn of the 21st century and the role of their music in regional tourism (2012). He works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula. He publishes in magazines, proceedings and monographs in the field of musicology, ethnomusicology, music pedagogy, history and tourism at home and abroad.
