No: 2163-56-01-19-8 of 23 January 2020 and Art. 24. the Basic Collective Agreement for Civil Servants and Employees in Public Services (NN No 128/17), the Director of DAPA
PUBLIC COMPETITION
for the reception of employees on a fixed-term basis
I. Archivist (m/f) – 1 temporary executor, until the return of an employee absent for a long time in the Department of Documentation and Information Affairs with the Library in the State Archives in Pazin.
II. Conditions:
– completed undergraduate and graduate university studies or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies or specialist graduate professional studies, as well as a person who has obtained a higher professional qualification in accordance with the regulations in force before the entry into force of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (NN Nos 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 02/07, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15, 131/17) – humanities or social studies;
– one year’s professional experience;
– passed the professional examination for the title of archivist;
– knowledge of a foreign language; and
– basic IT competences and skills.
III. The application must be accompanied by:
– Certificate of citizenship (copy)
– Proof of professional qualifications (certified copy)
– proof of work ability (copy of work booklet or electronic record of work experience issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute)
– proof of passing the professional examination (copy)
– a handwritten declaration of knowledge of one foreign language;
– a handwritten declaration of knowledge of working on a personal computer;
– certificate of no criminal record not older than 6 months (original)
– curriculum vitae.
IV. On the basis of Art. 13, para. 2 Gender Equality Act (NN Nos 82/08, 69/17) persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.
V. Candidates who exercise the right of priority in employment under special regulations are obliged to invoke this right in their application for the competition and attach the prescribed documentation under a special law and have priority over other candidates only under the same conditions.
VI Pursuant to the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families (NN No 121/17, hereinafter: the Act), persons referred to in Article 102(1) of the Act are invited to participate. 3 - 3 of the Act to provide the evidence referred to in Article 103(1). Laws for the purpose of gaining an advantage in employment.
VII. Persons who have not passed the professional exam in the archival profession may also apply for the competition, with the obligation to pass the exam in accordance with the Rules on the conditions and manner of acquiring professional titles in the archival profession.
VIII. Candidates who have met the formal requirements will be given an oral interview. If a candidate does not attend an oral interview, he/she will be deemed to have withdrawn his/her application.
IX. A complete application is considered to be one that contains all the information and applications listed in the Public Competition. Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered.
X. The deadline for submission of applications is 8 days from the publication in the Official Gazette at the address: State Archives in Pazin, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin with the indication "Tender for the position of archivist".
XI Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
