About the trainer:
Gaetano Benčić, prof. (Pula, 1978), studied history at the Facolta di Lettere e Filosofia of the University of Trieste. He is employed as a teacher at the Italian elementary school ‘Edmondo de Amicis’ Buje and as a professor at the Italian secondary school ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ Buje. He actively participates in scientific and professional conferences in Croatia and abroad, where he talks about Istrian historical and archaeological topics. He is the author of a monographic work and a dozen works in which he looks at Istrian topics, especially the history of the Mirna River valley.
