About the trainer:
Prof. dr. sc. Ante Škrobonja is a specialist in occupational medicine, scientific advisor and full professor of the history of medicine and the history of dentistry at medical faculties in Rijeka and Split until his retirement in 2009. He received his master's degree in 1984 and his doctorate in 1993. Alone or in co-authorship, he has published five books and about 120 scientific and professional articles. Under his mentorship, 6 master's theses and 67 graduate theses were defended at the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. In his scientific and publicist work he mostly deals with the history of medicine and sacral-medical topics. He is the President of the Croatian Scientific Society for the History of Health Culture and the founder and editor-in-chief of the international journal AMHA. Acta medico‑historica Adriatica. He received the annual award of the City of Rijeka in 2001, the State Award for the Popularization and Promotion of Science in 2007 and the State Award "Ivan Filipović" for his contribution to educational activities in the field of higher education in 2008.
