Exhibit at a glance:

In front of you is the result of many years of cooperation between the Regional Museum of Poreč and the State Archives in Pazin, two institutions that aim to inherit the testimonies of the past and present them to the public. On this occasion, along with marking the City Day, we decided to present posters and notices of the city of Poreč that were created in the period from 1784 to 1941. We wanted to show the forms of visual communication that are beginning to disperse with the discovery of printing technique and in the modern technological society are experiencing increasing use, and are still an indispensable form of communication today. Selected exhibits are kept in the funds of the State Archives in Pazin: The Imperial-Royal District Council in Poreč (1868-1918) and the Collection of Posters and Other Prints (1728-1943).
