On the basis of Article 22. the Statute of the State Archives in Pazin (hereinafter: DAPA) (consolidated text) CLASS: 012-03/18-01/01, REF. NO: 2163-56-01-22-13 of 1 June 2022, director Mirela Mrak Kliman, brings the following
J A V N I N A T J E Č A J
1. ARCHIVE TECHNICAL (M/F) – 1 permanent employee in the Documentation and Information Department
2. The conditions are:
- completed secondary education (CQF level 4.2 or 4.1) in a technical, graphical or IT course;
- one (1) year of professional experience;
- passed the professional exam for the title of archival technician;
- professional handling of photographic techniques;
- knowledge of a foreign language, and
- advanced IT competence and skills.
3. The application must be accompanied by:
- a handwritten application for the competition with contact details (address, mobile or telephone number)
- Certificate of completion of secondary school programme (copy)
- Proof of professional qualifications (copy)
- proof of passing the exam for the title of archival technician (copy)
- Proof of work experience (certificate or copy of employment contract and electronic record of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, not older than 30 days)
- Proof of foreign language proficiency (copy of secondary school certificate, index or certificate of foreign language school)
- evidence of IT competence and skills (copy of the secondary school certificate, index, transcript of computer science course grades, certificate of completion of the course or a handwritten declaration of IT competence)
- certificate of no criminal record, not older than 6 months from the date of publication of the competition
- curriculum vitae.
4. Persons who have not passed the professional exam for the title of archival technician may also apply for the competition, with the obligation to pass it in accordance with the Rules on taking professional exams in the archival profession.
5. On the basis of Art. 13, para. 2 Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under the Gender Equality Act (NN Nos 82/08, 69/17).
6. A candidate who exercises the right of priority in employment under special regulations is obliged to invoke this right in the application for the competition, or to enclose with the application all the prescribed documentation under a special law and has priority over other candidates under the same conditions.
7. A candidate exercising the right of priority in employment under the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families (NN Nos 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21) shall prove this by the required documents. 8. Pursuant to the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families, persons referred to in Article 102(1)-3 of that Act are invited to submit the evidence referred to in Article 103(1). Laws for the purpose of gaining an advantage in employment.
9. A candidate who invokes the right of priority for recruitment pursuant to Article 9. In the application form for the competition, the person with disabilities must invoke the right to vocational rehabilitation and employment (Narodne Novine (NN; Official Gazette of the Republic of Croatia) Nos 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20) and enclose all evidence of compliance with the required conditions, as well as proof of the established disability status.
10. A candidate who invokes the right of priority in employment in accordance with Article 48f of the Act on the Protection of Civil and Military Disabled Persons of the War (NN Nos 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 02/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19) shall, in addition to the application for the competition, attach a decision or certificate showing that right, in addition to proof of compliance with the required conditions.
11. Candidates’ personal data available from the application form, as well as the personal data available from the above-mentioned annexes to the application form for the public tender, are collected and processed solely for the purpose of conducting the public tender and in accordance with the applicable regulations (General Data Protection Regulation and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, Official Gazette 42/18).
12. By applying for the public tender, the candidate gives consent to the collection and processing of personal data by DAPA for the purpose of selecting a candidate for appointment to the position of expert worker in technical maintenance, as well as for the name and surname of the selected candidate to be published on the DAPA website.
13. Candidates whose applications are timely and complete and who meet the formal requirements of the competition will be invited to a mandatory test. Candidates will be informed about the method of testing, legal and other sources from which the test will be conducted, as well as about the time of the test, through the website of the State Archives in Pazin (www.dapa.hr) at least five days before the test. A candidate who does not respond to any of the stages of the tests, whatever the reasons, will be deemed to have withdrawn his/her application to the competition and will no longer be considered a candidate in this regard.
14. A complete application is considered to be one that contains all the information listed in the Public Competition. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered. The attached tender documentation shall not be returned. Documents proving compliance with the requirements of the public tender shall be attached in an uncertified copy, and the selected candidates shall present the originals of the requested documents before the conclusion of the employment contract. Candidates who attach documents with their application in which their personal data are not identical are required to provide proof of their change (e.g. a marriage certificate).
15. Prior to the conclusion of the employment contract, the selected candidate will be referred for a medical examination in order to determine the medical fitness to perform the duties of the post to which he/she is being recruited.
16. The deadline for submitting applications is 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication on the website of the Croatian Employment Service at the following address: State Archives in Pazin, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin with the indication ‘Tender for the position ARHIVSKI TEHNIČAR – not to open’. Candidates will be notified of the results of the competition within the legal deadline.
17. Candidates will be notified of the results of the selection no later than 45 days after the deadline for submission of applications via the website of the State Archives in Pazin.
