In the week from 20 to 24 October 2008. State Archives in Pazin (hereinafter: DAPA) celebrated its 50th anniversary. The main celebration was held on the first day in the DAPA premises, which was attended by numerous delegations from the Ministry of Culture, Istria County, local authorities, related institutions from the City and County, the Croatian State Archives and, of course, from other regional archives and other guests and visitors. After a series of welcome speeches by distinguished guests, DAPA thanked its former directors, directors and longtime employees for everything they have done for DAPA during their working life, especially when circumstances were different and often more difficult. Thanksgivings were also distributed to long-time archival staff who are still working at DAPA. Numerous representatives of municipalities and cities and all those who have followed and helped the Archive in various ways over the past fifty years have not been forgotten either. During the first day, a short documentary about DAPA was shown and guests were presented with a special gift - a monograph on the 50th anniversary of DAPA, created by the joint work of several of its employees.

As part of this celebration, it was also presented. a Commemorative Exhibition Posted by Biserka Budicin.

During the week, a two-day International Scientific Conference On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of DAPA and the 220th anniversary of the abolition of the Diocese of Pićan, which brought the celebration of the 50th anniversary of DAPA to an end.
