Our obligations
The State Archives in Pazin (hereinafter: the Archives) attaches great importance to your privacy. The archive has fully implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a law of the European Union. Please read these privacy policies to find out how we collect, process and store the information you provide to us using the website and the contact form. We collect different types of information, including information that identifies you as an individual (personal information). A more detailed explanation is below.
What information do we collect?
When you use our website, we may collect information that you choose to share with us. For example, you shared information with us in a contact form. We may also collect information regarding your access device and the IP address through which you accessed the website. How do we use information?
When you share your information with us, we may use the information obtained to respond to your inquiry in a timely manner, e.g. with certain services or contact forms. When you use our services, we may use your information:
- In order to establish the requested communication for the purpose of your requested inquiry for a particular service. Eg. when you send an inquiry via the contact form, the Archive collects the received personal data for the continuation of communication for the purpose of cooperation.
- To contact you and respond to your entry in the contact form.
- When a user visits our website and clicks on a particular page, anonymous information is collected about visits to certain sub-pages within our website (Google Analytics tools).
Cooperation with a third party
We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share any personal information of our users with any third party. Our employees have no right to use personal data collected for the purpose of cooperation between users and the Archive. Although it is unlikely that in the event that we receive a court order from the competent legislative body, the Archives will be obliged to provide them with the requested information. The Archives will take precautions to ensure that the requesting authorities do have legitimate reasons for the information requested.
Security and privacy
The archive protects personal data from unauthorized disposal and access. The archive uses organizational, technical and physical security measures to protect the collected personal data.
Cookies and other tracking technologies
The information from these cookies helps us understand how our users use the website, with the purpose of improving the quality of content towards users and the browsing experience. Questions and suggestions, requests for information, corrections or deletions
The user has the right at any time to withdraw the consent given for the processing of personal data and request the cessation of further processing of his data, unless it is data processing for statistical purposes, when personal data no longer allow identification of the data subject. The user also has the right to request the correction or modification of personal data provided for processing. Withdrawal of consent or a request for correction or change of personal data is submitted in writing by e-mail to dapa@dapa.hr or to the postal address, Vladimira Nazora 3, 52000 Pazin.
Anyone who considers that a right guaranteed by this Act has been violated may submit a request for a violation of the right to the Personal Data Protection Agency.
