Istrian Historical Biennale, dedicated to \u2018Violentia, conflictus, aggressio\u2026: on violence in history in the Adriatic area\u2019. The conference was opened with the presentation of the proceedings from the previous Biennale Artisani et mercatores, which were presented by Ur\u0161ka Brato\u017e, Gaetano Ben\u010di\u0107 and Marija Mogorovi\u0107 Crljenko. During the three-day program, 20 scientists from Croatia, Slovenia and Spain presented their research on this year's theme, illuminating various forms and contexts of violence in the history of the Adriatic area.
