The exhibition \u2018In nomine Sancte\u2026 Castrum Pisinum\u2019, created by the State Archives in Pazin and the Museum of the Town of Pazin, opened on the plateau of the Pazin Castle. The exhibition is informative and presents a kind of introduction to Ka\u0161tel for all future visitors, and provides relevant and interesting information about the history, architecture and significance of Ka\u0161tel to all guests of the town of Pazin. The exhibition, as well as the exhibition catalogue (the promotion of which is planned for autumn 2023), chronologically analyzes and displays the history of Ka\u0161tela from the first mention of 983 to the middle of the 20th century, when it became home to museum institutions, which is still today. In addition to the chronological presentation of historical facts, changes, construction and upgrades in the context of the architecture of Ka\u0161tela and the importance and significance in the context of primarily the Pazin principality, but also other historical moments, the exhibition and catalogue also bring some less known data and interesting facts, and abound in photographs and reproductions of archival and museum material. In addition to the materials of the Museum of the City of Pazin and the archives of the State Archives in Pazin, for the purposes of exhibitions and catalogues, research has been carried out in archival institutions and in this sense a new contribution has been made to the history of the Pazin Castle, which is also based on archival sources. For research and exhibition purposes, materials from: the Apostolic Archives at the Vatican, the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, the Diocesan Archives in Pore\u010d, the Croatian State Archives, the State Archives in Rijeka, the National Library in Vienna and the Maritime Museum \u2018Sergej Ma\u0161era\u2019 from Piran. The cultural and artistic part of the opening of the exhibition was very interesting and of high quality. The actor Valter Ro\u0161a read in his own distinctive way the \u2018Proclamation of the First Mention of Pazin (Oton II)\u2019, Wolfgang Renner performed the \u2018Fortune my foe\u2019 by John Dowland and the \u2018Fantasia\u2019 by V. Francesco da Milano. Students of the Juraj Dobrila Academy of Music in Pula, Sandra B\u00f6hm, accompanied by Dorijan Jarnjak, first performed George Frederick Handel\u2019s composition \u2018Vagodendo\u2019 and then \u2018Dominoes Deus\u2019 by Antonio Vivaldi, performed by Gabrijela Mijatovi\u0107, and accompanied by Dorijan Jarnjak. The exhibition for all visitors remains open for a year, on the plateau in front of the Pazin Castle.<\/p>\n
