Tomislav Galovi\u0107 completed the Pazin Course \u2013 Classical Gymnasium in Pazin, and graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb with a degree in History, Archival Studies, Latin Language and Roman Literature. At the same university, he received his doctorate with the theme Libellus Policorion \u2013 Rogovski Cartellar (diplomatic-historical analysis) and obtained an assistant professorship. He is an external associate of the Catholic Faculty of Theology of the University of Zagreb and the Scientific Centre of Excellence for Croatian Glagolitism at the Old Slavonic Institute in Zagreb. He is a secretary and a member of the Presidency of the Croatian National Committee for Historical Sciences in Zagreb. He studies Croatian medieval history and auxiliary historical sciences and especially the history of the island of Krk. Tajnik je i \u010dlan Predsjedni\u0161tva Hrvatskog nacionalnog odbora za povijesne znanosti u Zagrebu.
