He was ordained a priest in 1962. In two terms, he served as the provincial minister of the Croatian Province of Conventual Franciscans. He spent four years in the Vatican as a regular penitentiary in St. Peter's Basilica. It's Peter. He was the guardian of the Franciscan Monastery in Pula and vicar of the Province in Zagreb. He was elected provincial minister in three terms.
