Nikola Lovrini\u0107 completed his studies in musicology in 2003 at the Department of Musicology, Academy of Music, University of Zagreb. At the same institution in cooperation with the Musicological Institute ZRC SAZU in Ljubljana he obtained his master's degree in 2007. He is employed as a teacher of theoretical music subjects at the Elementary Music School Matko Braj\u0161a Ra\u0161ana at the Public Open University in Labin. He is the author of several scientific and professional papers, a referent at musicological conferences in Croatia and abroad and a lecturer at professional councils and seminars for teachers of theoretical music subjects. As the head of the children's choir, he regularly participates in meetings of children's and young people's choirs. His main area of research is the music of the late Renaissance and early Baroque. Autor je vi\u0161e znanstvenih i stru\u010dnih radova, referent na muzikolo\u0161kim skupovima u Hrvatskoj i inozemstvu te predava\u010d na stru\u010dnim vije\u0107ima i seminarima za u\u010ditelje teorijskih glazbenih predmeta.
