Boris Bileti\u0107 graduated from the Pedagogical Academy in Pula. He also graduated from the Department of South Slavic Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He holds a master's degree from the Department of Croatian Studies of the same faculty. He is the director of the \u2018Matija Vla\u010di\u0107 Ilirik\u2019 City Library in Rovinj. He is the vice-president of the Association of Croatian Writers and the founder of the Istrian branch of DHK. He is the initiator and editor-in-chief of the magazine \u2018Nova Istra\u2019. He is the founder of numerous literary projects, editor of hundreds of books and the winner of many literary awards. For literary work and cultural activities he was awarded the Order of the Croatian Danica with the image of Marko Maruli\u0107. In addition to poetry, he publishes reviews, studies and translations. Ravnatelj je Gradske knji\u017enice \u201cMatija Vla\u010di\u0107 Ilirik\u201d u Rovinju. Dopredsjednik je Dru\u0161tva hrvatskih knji\u017eevnika i osniva\u010d istarskog ogranka DHK-a. Pokreta\u010d je i glavni urednik \u010dasopisa \u201cNova Istra\u201d. Utemeljitelj je brojnih knji\u017eevnih projekata, urednik stotinjak knjiga te dobitnik mnogih knji\u017eevnih nagrada.
