Objectives of the project:<\/strong><\/p>\n

D<\/span>At the end of August 2009, the State Archives in Pazin, in agreement with the Istrian Literary Society \u2018Juraj Dobrila\u2019, launched the \u2018Juraj Dobrila\u2019 project with the aim of finding, recording and collecting archival material that testifies to the life and work of Bishop Juraj Dobrila. The State Archives in Pazin are in charge of finding, recording and collecting archival material or copies thereof, which is located at the State Archives of the Republic of Croatia and private persons, while the Istrian Literary Society is in charge of the same at the Diocesan Archives of the Diocese of Pore\u010d and Pula and Trieste. In accordance with the possibilities, efforts will be made to record material that is also found in foreign secular and church archives, with an emphasis on Juraj Dobrila's education and official and private correspondence.<\/p>\n

In addition to these goals, the project also plans to publish a doctoral dissertation by Bishop Dobrila \u2018de Confessione sacramentali<\/em>\u201c with transcription and translation and an exhibition of the collected and recorded archival material on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of birth.<\/p>\n
